Thoughts

Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God and I trust him. For he will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease.

Psalm 91:1-3

“Lord, somehow you know how much I’d need you. How is it that you can know billions of people so well? I know in my head that you are good even though some parts of my life seem to contradict that. Upon closer examination, however, I see your hand at work even in the midst of my most painful memories. Your mercy and grace sustained me, and I am here with a story to tell of your faithfulness. If you had not been with me, it would have been much worse. My life, my identity could have been destroyed by the advisory who only seeks to ruin and kill. But you, Lord, were there. You never left. Father let me see your goodness with new eyes. The more I see you, the more I realize how nearsighted I am. I am tired of taking you for granted, teach me to see you in the details- you are my anchor in life’s waves.”
